About the role

Frant CEP School is a small village school, just to the south of Tunbridge Wells, with a community feel and an enthusiastic team of staff.

We are looking for an efficient, friendly and well organised Federation KS2 Class Teacher to join our school team.

Start date is September 2022.

The successful candidate will be
*highly organised, hardworking and pay attention to detail.
  *able to maintain confidentiality.
  *able to communicate effectively.
*able to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
*able to maintain efficient record keeping systems.

We are part of the Weald Federation which was formed in September 2019 with the amalgamation of Saxonbury (Frant and Mark Cross) and Aspire (Mayfield and Five Ashes) Federations. The schools are working together to enhance both the academic and pastoral opportunities for the pupils.  The larger federation also offers staff a wide variety of CPD and career progression opportunities.

This post is covered by the Childcare Disqualification Regulations 2018.

The school will need to ensure that they are not knowingly employing a person who is disqualified under the 2018 Regulations in connection with relevant childcare provision.  Accordingly, the successful candidate will be required to demonstrate to the school, by completing a self-declaration form as part of the pre-employment checks process, that they have not been disqualified under the 2018 Regulations.

If the preferred candidate is found to be disqualified under the 2018 Regulations, the offer of employment will be subject to the application by the preferred candidate to Ofsted for a waiver and the receipt of a waiver from Ofsted.
