Working within Property Services, you will be part of a team dedicated to delivering a first class Housing service.
The job requires an enthusiastic, efficient, courteous and confident team player with excellent interpersonal skills, who can provide comprehensive support to the Housing Services department.
The role is one of a number of Customer Service Advisors within the Winchester City Council Housing Hub responding to customers through a wide variety of channels including telephony (both inbound and outbound), internet enquiries as well as dealing face-to-face with visitors to the Council Offices.
The duties of the role are primarily focussed on responsive maintenance, but will also handle other tenancy matters and involve liaison with residents, contractors and councillors as well as other members of the various teams making up Winchester City Council’s Housing Services department.
You will need keyboard skills and the ability to learn and operate various computer systems including the integrated housing system "Orchard" (full training will be provided). You must be able to work under pressure in this busy environment and also have the ability to prioritise your workload.
