The Post
The post provides you with the opportunity to carry out a variety of key administrative tasks on behalf of Brent's Neighbourhood and Housing Team. This includes financial administration support, such as managing Purchase Orders or utility billing as well as being a direct contact for our suppliers.
The role also provides complaint coordination and monitoring for the Housing Service Teams including following up on delayed complaints, administering complex complaints cases. It will also coordinate responses for the Housing Department by co-ordinating Freedom of Information, Members Enquiries, Subject Access Requests.
The post holder will also respond to enquiries from a range of customer contact channels including emails, website, customer portal.
The Person
The ideal candidate will have successful clerical and administrative experience in a comparable working environment.
They will have experience of working in partnership with a range of different stakeholders, contractors, and internal service teams to deliver successful outcomes.

Be able to demonstrate the ability to be solution-focused, with a ‘Can Do’ attitude and a champion of great customer service.
You should take pride in managing enquiries through to a successful resolution
You will have the ability to build and form working relationships with tenants, leaseholders/advocates and colleagues and work flexibly across operational boundaries.
You should be able to demonstrate an intermediate level of Excel and Word and have previous experience of using a financial accounting system such as Oracle
