External Funding Development and Delivery Project Officer

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a suitably experienced External Funding/Economic Development Project Officer to join Hastings Borough Council.  You will be working within a dynamic regeneration team at a time of major activity within the town.

The purpose of the job is to support, write and coordinate the development of external funding bids including assisting in the development of project proposals. You will be supporting the External Funding Manager and Economic Development Manager in the development and maintenance of working relationships with internal departments and external partners in the pursuit of public and private funding for a pipeline of projects proposals supporting the delivery of the Council’s corporate priorities.

You will also research and analyse a variety of regional and national funding sources and strategic policies and maintain an up to date knowledge of major and emerging funding regimes initiatives. You will also assist with the project implementation of successful funding bids as and when required.

Knowledge and experience of economic regeneration activities and the new levelling up policy agenda would be useful.
