As an exciting development opportunity in Housing Services, this secondment will see you managing a key team, leading on the development of the council’s new Housing and Homelessness Strategy, and playing an important role supporting the transformation of Housing Services.

We are looking for someone who has experience in developing, implementing and monitoring strategies, policies and projects, with the aim of delivering agreed outcomes within project timescales. Partnership working is a key element of this role to deliver corporate objectives and service transformation, working with a wide range of council teams and other stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have the skills to lead and manage the Housing Strategy and Service Development Team, driving continuous service improvement and excellent customer service.
