About the role
St Mary’s school wish to appoint an experienced individual to work within our school and residential areas. St Mary’s school is a non-maintained residential special school that meets the needs of a wide range of SEND.
The Caretaker will support the Site Manager in ensuring the Trust’s premises are well maintained and kept in good order. This is a dynamic role, which will suit an individual with a broad range of skills in building and grounds maintenance and health and safety. The role requires working in line with the Trust’s policies, procedures, legislation and industry best practice at all times and may involve various day time shift patterns. The Successful applicant must hold a valid driver’s license as some driving of school vehicles will be required. This is a full time position over 52 weeks, offering equivalent of 6.5 weeks holiday.
