Assistant Head
We are seeking to appoint a talented, inspirational Assistant Headteacher to join our new Leadership structure with shared responsibility for driving forward areas of the School Improvement Plan. Initially this will be taking responsibility for Behaviour, Safeguarding and Pastoral aspects of the school. We actively welcome applications from Middle Leaders aspiring to their next step, as well as from current Assistant Headteachers looking to further develop their careers.
Within this role, you must be ambitious for our children above all else and be able to:
- Assist the Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher in the day to day operational management of the school.
- Take a leading role in strategic decision making and policy development across the school.
- Assist in the promotion, direction, and oversight of high standards of teaching and learning.
- Provide leadership, support and direction for Inclusion and Safeguarding, ensuring achievement and progression for all pupils.
- Improve the quality of learning and teaching by ensuring opportunities are provided for the professional development of staff and subject leaders.
- Support the professional development and performance management of staff.
- Show commitment to your own professional development and have a desire to undertake additional higher level qualifications, such as the NPQ programme.
