Starting salary: JG7:- £29,174 per annum
Location: Mobile Worker – our new system of agile working means that although your work base will be the Town Hall, Weston-super-Mare, you will also be able to work from home.
Hours: 37 hours per week
Contract: Fixed term - 24 months

We are looking for someone who is caring, motivated and able to make a positive difference in the well-being of colleagues across the Council. If you are passionate about helping others to understand what they can do to have an impact on their well-being we have a fantastic opportunity for you to join the council’s Inclusion and Corporate Development Team.
Supported by a Well-being Specialist the ideal person for this role will have experience in listening to and providing support for others to maintain and improve their well-being.
The successful candidate will have experience of building rapport, recommending, and delivering interventions for individuals and groups in a wide range of well-being topics to help strengthen their resilience. You will also have experience of coaching as a technique for personal development.
At your interview you will be able to talk about your experience of:
- Taking a key role in the successful delivery of corporate projects and initiatives.
- Facilitating and delivering training across a range of well-being topics.
- Identifying gaps, researching, and developing solutions.
- Supporting individuals and teams where well-being challenges have been presented
- Communicating effectively with a wide range of stakeholders to provide information and advice about well-being topics
- Administering a well-being programme across a large group or organisation
In return, you’ll be part of a busy, professional, and committed team based in Corporate Services in a role that works closely across all directorates of the council.
This role can be carried out flexibly between the office and home.
