A vacancy has arisen within the Property Repairs Services (PRS) department for a Contract Officer.
The successful applicant shall be able to demonstrate, high quality organisational skills, and a thorough knowledge of all aspects of the building trade.
The successful applicant will have the ability to supervise and manage operational staff to ensure high quality of work is achieved within efficient and cost-effective time scales.
The working week is 37 hours Monday to Friday with occasional flexibility working additional time to meet specific work demands. The individual will be required to work one week in every three of the call out rota. This service is managed by PRS and our own tradesmen are also on call out too. The service is one of making safe but where possible we will carry out the repair too.
A full valid driving licence is essential for this role.
