About the role
All Saints are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, committed TA to support Speech and Language work and therapeutic sessions across the nursery, school and within our ‘Rainbow Room’ SEND provision. The role will also include supporting in classes as required. This role has been graded at Single Status 5, above that of a standard TA role to reflect the level of experience required.
The successful candidate should have:
• Understanding of Speech and Language needs from 2-11. Relevant qualifications (Elklan, etc) are desirable but there will be the opportunity for further training.
• Experience of using language link and speech link assessments, developing subsequent action plans and delivering appropriate interventions.
• Experience of working with pupils with SEN; in particular pupils who have SEMH and ASD needs.
• Experience of delivering therapeutic sessions (Thrive, ELSA, nurture provision, mediation, counselling).
• The ability to create good working relationships to support pupils effectively and promote positive values, attitudes and behaviour.
• Knowledge and understanding to effectively use resources to engage pupils and achieve positive pupil outcomes.
• The ability to manage own workload and present the impact of work undertaken.
• A flexible and positive attitude.
All Saints CE Primary School is a one-form entry primary school situated in Sidley, Bexhill. We have up to 290 children who are organised into single age classes including our thriving Nursery. Following significant investment, we are due to open a specialist SEND facility in Sep 22 for pupils with neuro-diverse profiles.

The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 3pm (but finishing at 4pm on Wed, starting at 8pm on Monday) with 30 minutes unpaid daily lunch break, term time only. The remaining 30 mins is flexible across the week.
You will be part of the wider school team at All Saints C.E. Primary School and will benefit from a range of training and development opportunities. You will be working closely with the teaching staff to ensure a safe, stimulating and caring environment. Visits to the school are encouraged.
