Situated within the heart of the Cambridge-Peterborough Growth Area, Huntingdonshire is a beautiful district that boasts thriving market towns and many attractive villages, each with its own identity. We are an innovative and forward-thinking Local Authority whose residents are at the heart of our decision making.

We are seeking a confident and well organised individual to assist in our Local Land Charges (LLC) service providing search responses to the conveyancing sector part of the house buying process. You will assist with the maintenance of the Local Land Charges Register, answering enquiries and providing searches and certificates for Local Land Charges (LLC) and Local Authority (Con29) enquiries.

You will need the ability to analyse and interpret data (including spatial mapping data) to provide answers to questions contained in search requests and you will need to be confident in using IT databases (any experience of Idox TLC or Uniform is advantageous but not essential).

We are looking for someone who is highly organised, has good communication skills and be adept at managing their own workload in meeting demanding deadlines.

The successful candidate will need to work well as part of a small team and have the ability to build and maintain good working relationships with colleagues in other Council departments and external organisations.

The postholder should have the ability to work flexibly, working from home primarily whilst we continue with the hybrid working arrangements, but there will also be a requirement to undertake office-based activities within the role as required and you should therefore be within commutable distance to our offices in Huntingdon.

We want to employ staff who embody our icare values (Inspiring, Collaborative, Accountable, Respectful, Enterprising) all of which support our ultimate purpose of putting our customers first.
