As a Senior Commissioning Officer you will be responsible for undertaking commissioning activities that support the vision and priorities of Birmingham Children’s Trust and its relentless drive for improving outcomes for children and young people across the city.
You will be expected to work collaboratively with partners across a wide range of agencies to effectively manage contracts, monitor services and assist in the co-production of services to meet the needs of the children and young people of Birmingham.

It would be advantageous if you have achieved, or are working towards, MCIPS.
You will also work closely with Managers and colleagues within the Trust, with external partners and agencies, to help ensure the highest standards of care and value for money are delivered by our service providers.
You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the proven ability to write effective reports.
You must be proficient in the use of ICT, including Word and Excel and be able to work under pressure to meet competing and conflicting deadlines.
