Assistant Fitness Centre Manager - Highdown School

37 hours per week

We are seeking an inspiring and dynamic fitness instructor to work with a committed team and external partners to shape, develop and deliver an innovative and diverse physical activity offer, which enhances understanding across the local community of the benefits of physical activity in life and increases the uptake of physical activities, enabling people to maintain their physical and mental wellbeing, strength and balance and to ‘live longer better’.

The offer should be responsive to the needs and aspirations of everyone, accessible to all and of high quality.

The successful candidate should have:
• Minimum Level 2 but preferably level 3 PT fitness qualification
• Experience of a wide range of operational and people management
• Good communication skills both verbal and written, and excellent interpersonal skills to lead, inspire and innovate
• Ability to build and develop excellent relationships and strong partnerships internally and externally
• Active commitment to equality diversity and inclusion.
