Your role in our journey
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work in the Commercial and Support Services Team, based down at Smithies Depot. The post will involve managing a small team and supporting the frontline services in Environment & Transport in a journey of continuous improvement.
The post holder will be responsible for identification, design and implementation of data driven service improvements, utilising specific software systems and mobile technology. You will provide operational management and leadership of the team, whilst developing strategies to improve the service delivery for numerous services.
You will oversee the Performance and Scheduling of the Business Unit to ensure effective and efficient service delivery. An understanding of Power BI would be a distinct advantage. You must be willing to adapt and support a variety of frontline and back-office areas in a frantic office environment. The ability to provide technical advice based on sound statistical data to a variety of audiences including senior management and frontline staff is essential.
What you’ll need
You will need a Level 6 qualification or relevant experience such as designing or implementing a framework of continuous improvement, along with proven analytical experience from a similar role such as project management or business analysis.
