Property Support Officer (Ref: PSO)

Salary £20,875.40 p.a

 

This role is based in the busy Property Services department. If successful, you will provide a wide range of administrative support to the property team and assist with the management of the Council’s portfolio of residential and commercial properties. The duties will include:

 

  • General administrative support including answering telephone queries, opening mail, filing and photocopying
  • Updating the computerised property systems and to run reports/produce maps
  • Raising purchase orders and processing of invoices
  • Conducting viewings of commercial and residential properties
  • Inspecting void properties and dealing with utility bills.

 

Applicants should preferably be educated to A Level standard, with GCSE passes in Maths and English at grade C (4) or above as well as an I.T qualification. You must have previous administrative experience in a busy office environment; a background in property would be a distinct advantage.

 

To be a successful applicant, you must be a hardworking team player able to apply common sense, be numerate and literate with good written and interpersonal skills, show excellent attention to detail and the ability to use your own initiative to problem solve. You must also have a current valid driving license.

 

The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in fluent English is essential in this post.
