Barnsley Museums is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Commercial Development Assistant to lead on venue hire across our museum sites.
The candidate will have experience in the events or programming sector, a passion for providing high quality visitor experiences and exceptional administration skills. We're looking for someone who is a great communicator, well organised and able to leverage income opportunities for the museum service from a range of clients.
You will work with the wider commercial team facilitating room hires, markets, weddings and high- profile events so must be able to work flexibly, adapting your skills to a range of situations when dealing with the public and colleagues. This role is ideal for someone keen to get involved in commercial development within the museums and heritage sector.
