We are looking for an Attendance and Safeguarding Assistant to join ‘Team Shine’ at Shinewater Primary School.
This is an exciting new role for someone who is passionate about supporting families and improving life chances for children. It will involve two interconnecting attendance and safeguarding roles.
As Attendance Administrator, you will support individual pupils and families to improve attendance. Fully supported by a Senior Attendance Officer, you will undertake all administrative tasks associated with the recording, management and monitoring of attendance.
As the Primary Deputy Safeguarding Lead, you will support the Designated Safeguarding Lead responsible for children protection across the school. You will take part in strategy discussions and inter-agency meetings, contribute to the assessment of children and liaise with relevant agencies such as the local authority, children’s services and police.
We are looking for someone who is able to build relationships with children and their parents, particularly the most vulnerable. An effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills is a must.
We can offer you a happy place to work and lots of support from the school and academy trust teams. Shinewater Primary School is a successful school recently graded Good with Outstanding features.
