At the London Borough of Hounslow, we have big ambitions. And our Housing and Tenancy Management Services are helping us realise these by transforming how we work for our residents. Right now, we need performance-driven managers for our Tenancy Sustainment roles.

In this role, everything you do will help our residents. It’s about so much more than giving people a home: it’s about giving everyone a future to look forward to. So you’ll take on incredibly rewarding and purposeful work.

You will be a frontline professional delivering a first class, modern and flexible service to some of the most vulnerable people in the Borough.  You are outcome focussed and creative in the way you achieve successful outcomes, seeking and implementing bespoke solutions to complex problems.  You adopt a casework-based approach to tenancy sustainment, being proactive and assertive to engage with tenants to influence and empower them to remain safely and independently in their homes.

Day-to-day, you’ll be working closely with our residents. This might be from home, in our office or out and about in the community. No matter where you’re working from, you’ll create strong relationships and build trust with every interaction. This way, you’ll find out what our residents’ need and how we can best help. And with your understanding of vulnerable people, you’ll be able to contextualise these needs and define realistic goals.

No matter your previous professional experience, we need you to be passionate about making a difference. You’ll lead with your heart, be a confident communicator and have an empathetic approach. People-focused, you’ll always remember that our work impacts real communities, real families, and real futures.

Having a diverse workforce is vital because it helps us to better understand our communities and different perspectives. You’ll find that our culture is supportive and inclusive, allowing you to be your true self. And because we want everyone reach their full potential, you’ll take advantage of great career progression and plenty of benefits.

It's time to take pride in your work. It’s time to join One Hounslow, one vision, one team.
