About the role
Our administrators play a key role in supporting the Council and helping us provide a better service to the people of East Sussex. You will be joining Legal Services as an Administrative Assistant and will provide administrative support to the Legal Services Team.
You will be working in a fast-paced environment and should have good organisational skills, the ability to multitask and work well under pressure. You will work directly with the Practice Manager to provide support across a wide range of administration functions. Ideally you will be someone with previous experience of working within a busy legal office and who has excellent IT skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to use your own initiative.
Additional information
Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
