Team Manager – Youth Offending Service
Salary: up to £46,022
plus £2,000 annual retention payment, a £2,000 Golden Hello and lease car

This is an exciting opportunity to join the London Borough of Bromley on our Road Map to Excellence and our forward thinking agenda. The Youth Offending Service (YOS) was recently inspected in 2017 overall rated as good and we are on a continual improvement journey in becoming a learning organisation as well as the development of a Practice model within Children's social care of which the YOS is a key part.
We are looking for a Team manager to join our Youth Offending Service.
You will be committed to ensuring that the highest standard of effective practice is delivered and maintained by the Youth Offending Service. The focus will be on
achieving the highest possible professional standards, you will manage and motivate a multidisciplinary staff team, having oversight of their cases and ensuring effective assessment and outcome-based interventions are delivered.
As a supportive manager, you will ensure team members are motivated and encouraged to deliver their best. Safeguarding will be a key aspect of your role: you will ensure the principles are in place to manage risks posed by the behaviour of young people as well as other risks.
You will have an impressive track record of management in a social work or criminal justice system setting, will be complemented by a professional qualification in social work*. Above all, you will have the drive, passion and commitment to making a difference to the lives of our young people. *A Professional qualification in Social Work is required as well as registration with HCPC
