Career grade 8-7 - £21,269 to £27,514 per annum (Appointment on the career grade structure is based on experience and/or qualifications)

The successful candidate will provide advice and guidance in order to prevent homelessness in the Borough by assisting clients to retain present accommodation, and to ensure access to a range of housing options are made available for those that are in housing need.

The postholder will be required to undertake home visits, face to face and telephone assessments when required.  Make relevant enquiries and accurately recording casework information. The postholder will ensure that clients are provided with effective professional advice and assistance tailored to suit their individual needs.

Although it is desirable to have experience of working in a housing related field, along with a working knowledge of current housing legislation and case law.  We will also consider any transferable skills and will be able to offer extensive training to the right applicant.

You must have the ability to travel around the Borough.
