Do you have a passion for helping people be more active, stay independent at home, eat well, stop smoking, get out and socialise, drink less and be healthier and happier?

We are recruiting a Wellbeing Advisor to help deliver our exciting Wellbeing Prescription service which works to promote lifestyle change and prevent ill-health.

As a Wellbeing Advisor you will work 1-2-1 with clients in GP surgeries or/and with clients in their own homes.

Using behaviour change techniques you help to identify their health and social needs, encourage change and signpost them to services that can help them lead a healthier lifestyle.

Clients may be referred to you for a variety of reasons including loneliness, anxiety, obesity and inactive lifestyle. Using appropriate techniques, you will support the client to change their behaviour and improve their wellbeing.

You will work within East Surrey GP’s which cover Reigate and Banstead districts and Tandridge districts.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a successful, expanding service. The post is initially funded until March 2021, with the possibility of continuation subject to funding.

The role will also be considered on a part-time basis.
