Brent is a tremendously vibrant London borough where the iconic arch of Wembley Stadium dominates the skyline. Spanning both inner and outer London, it is a borough of huge contrasts in terms of its economic, environmental, ethnic and social make up. Brent’s diversity is evident to all who visit our borough and our long history of ethnic and cultural diversity has created a place that is truly unique and valued by those who live and work here.
The council is pursuing a far-reaching transformation agenda that better meets the needs of our community so it is an exciting time to join us.
The Post
The Council has an exciting opportunity for an Audio-Visual Technician to join the AV Services team on a permanent basis.
In this role, you’ll be joining a small yet broadly-skilled team supporting a huge variety of services and events. As well as supporting Council meetings and internal functions, a large part of our work is supporting corporate events and conferences as part of The Drum at Wembley.
The Person
The role encompasses all-round AV support to a number of service areas, and we’re looking for someone who has experience in at least one of the main areas of work (sound engineering, lighting, video or IT).
An interest and ability to learn new areas is really crucial, so you can adapt to the particular technologies and systems we use here. This also brings really great opportunities for your personal and professional development, so this role may suit you particularly well if you are an established technician in one field who’s looking to broaden their horizons.
Closing date: 05 February 2023 (23:00)
