£18,254 per annum for working full time (36 hours per week) pro rata for part time hours (£9.72 per hour)

You will be able to select the area you would like to work in during our application process.
You must have a full driving licence, access to a car and vehicle and business insurance, as you’ll be required to travel to visit people in their own homes. Our current contractual car user mileage rate is 45p per mile.
An enhanced DBS ‘Disclosure and Barring Service’ check for regulated activity (formerly known as CRB) and the Children’s and Adults’ Barred List checks will be required for this role.

About the Role
The aim of our Reablement Teams is to allow individuals to stay living in their own homes for as long as possible.
We support some of the most vulnerable people in society in their own homes and help those who have experienced mental or physical health conditions regain daily living skills and wellbeing. We work closely with health partners and have teams based in all of the district and borough council offices in Surrey.
In this role you’ll be doing something that really matters.
You will provide support and guidance with all daily living tasks, including medication and mobility. You’ll be there to ensure dignity, choice and control is maintained and have responsibility for the individual sensitive needs of those who require support. You will be closely involved in the development of reablement programmes; allowing individuals to continue with their lives.
Due to the active nature of this role, a good level of physical mobility is required.
