About the role
Ditchling (St Margaret's) C.E. Primary and Nursery School is a popular, friendly, rural primary and nursery school with 190 children on roll, aged 2 - 11 years. We are seeking a Teaching Assistant to support academic progress, working principally with children in Key Stage 2. We were judged ‘Good’ by OFSTED in 2017, with ‘Outstanding’ for Pupil development, behaviour and welfare. We are looking for a self-motivated, creative person with a passion for seeing children grow and develop. The position is for a Teaching Assistant (TA) and Midday Supervisory Assistant (MDSA). We are seeking someone either with experience working with those with dyslexic learning traits or who is keen to undertake training to develop expertise in this area.. Working pattern: TA Mon to Thurs 8.30 – 12:00
MDSA Mon and Thurs 12.00 – 13.15.
Pay scale: TA £15,377/MDSA £15,013 pro rata
