Principal Regeneration Officer
Full Time - Based at Enfield Civic Centre
Enfield is a truly diverse borough combining major regeneration opportunities, vibrant town centres, attractive parkland and open space with inner city challenges. As one of London’s largest and definitely most exciting regeneration opportunities, Meridian Water will deliver transformational change, creating approximately 10,000 new homes and 6,000 jobs. The team is expanding in recognition of the need to accelerate development and deliver significant projects that will create the conditions for major inward investment.
You will play an important role in supporting the Council to deliver Meridian Water including project delivery, meanwhile uses, environmental and community based projects, physical development projects, project managing consultants, and engagement with the community as well as joint working with council officers, partners, landowners and developers.
We have a motivated, talented, and dynamic growing - team of multi-disciplinary regeneration officers, and we are particularly looking for staff with the same aspirations and vision with a regeneration background whether that be physical, social, economic or community focussed. We also want to hear from you if you have a civil engineering, housing, urban planning or property background. If you have previous experience in any of the above and can demonstrate a strong commitment to improving communities through partnership working, we would like to hear from you.
There has never been a more exciting time to join the team.
We have already achieved a lot: The Meridian Water station is open, we are starting to build the first 1,000 homes and we are innovating with meanwhile uses and through partners – we’ve opened a 10,000 capacity music venue and we’re delivering makerspace with Building Bloqs. Troubadour Theatres are on site with film studios. Our skills Academy delivered with our Development Partners has planning permission and will be brought for during this coming year.
But, with your help, we can deliver so much more.
