About The Job: 

Specialist ICT Analyst - Oracle DBA, you will be responsible for providing technical support for all in scope Oracle database environments in line with the organisation's established policies and procedures, including new installations and upgrades including migration.

Support defining, implementing and managing our customers Oracle database environments in line with architectural standards.

Assist developers and other DBAs, including with developments, implementations, upgrades and ongoing maintenance of the Oracle applications and database environments.

About You: You will have: 

  1. Oracle DBA - Performance monitoring and tuning
  2. Oracle application support
  3. Upgrades and patching
  4. Extract transform load data processes
  5. Backup and recovery
  6. Oracle Forms
  7. Web Logic
  8. ORDS – Rest data services
  9. Oracle Apex

Desirables:

  1. Business Objects (SAP Business Intelligence):
  2. Managing universes
  3. Managing connections
  4. User administration
  5. Repository database - sybase or SQL server
  6. BIAR backups and restores
