Hours: 37 hours per week

North Somerset Council is offering an exciting opportunity in its Adult Social Services Directorate. If you are motivated to deliver excellent practice in Social Care this may be the opportunity you have been looking for.
The role is part of an established leadership team and pivotal in contributing to the development of services within the Directorate and delivering Corporate priorities.
In 2020, North Somerset Adult Services was identified within the LGA Social Work Health Check, as the number 1 place to work in the South West.
We are looking for an inspirational leader who is ambitious, passionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated to Social Care. North Somerset has a Principal Occupational Therapist and Principal Social Worker within the Leadership team who support the Directorate with innovation and best practice implementation.
The Head of Localities is responsible for the North and South community teams, Continuing Health Care and Reviews. The teams work closely with the voluntary sector and strive to support people to engage with their community networks, identifying how their care and support needs will be met.
This post is exempt under the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions) Order 1975 and is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
