About the role

Burwash CE Primary is a small rural primary school situated in the village of Burwash.

Due to a forthcoming retirement we have an exciting opportunity to appoint a new caretaker to join the staff team in March 2022.

Hours: Monday to Friday 7.30am- 11 am ( hours)

Single Status Grade 4  point 9-10  : £18,933-£19,312 pro rata equates to £8,955-£9,134 actual (pay award pending)

We are looking for an individual who:

  • Is practical, able to problem solve and is skilled in non-specialist DIY.
  • Will take a pride in our school environment and will proactively sort any issues that require attention.
  • Will assist colleagues to ensure the safe running of the school environment.
  • Is able to communicate effectively with colleagues.
  • Is able to follow health and safety regulations and keep accurate records.
  • Is committed to safeguarding all pupils.
