About the role
High Hurstwood CE Primary School is a popular school with an excellent reputation. We are located in a beautiful part of the Weald countryside. High Hurstwood is judged to be Outstanding by both Ofsted and SIAMS Inspections (February and September 2017). Our recently launched BEE motto ('Belong ~ Enjoy ~ Excel') encapsulates what we want for the children and staff at High Hurstwood and also reflects our Christian Values.
We require an Individual Needs Assistant to work in our Key Stage 1 classroom. The work will involve supporting children both within the classroom and at individual work stations. The required hours will be 9am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday. The post will include supporting individual children during playtimes and lunchtimes (appropriate breaks will be provided during the day).
The successful candidate should be someone who:
- Has excellent interpersonal skills and can build relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
- Can be part of a dynamic and hardworking staff team.
- Is calm, patient, resilient and flexible.
- Has previous experience of working with children.
