About the role

Aurora Academies Trust was formed in 20212 and has a total of seven schools across the South East, providing education to approximately 3,000 pupils. This is a new role which presents a fantastic opportunity for somebody who shares our values and beliefs to join our team at a very important time. 

We are eager to appoint a high-quality finance professional with ambition and drive, who is at least part qualified (CIPFA, ACCA, CIMA) and shares the MAT’s values and passion for improving the lives and opportunities of children and young people. 

This key role, within our central team, will report directly to the Finance Director. You will assist in budget and forecasting processes and support the Finance Director in implementing the financial strategy and ensuring the MAT maintains statutory and regulatory compliance.

Flexible working requests will be considered for the right candidate, the role will require independent travel across the schools but also has the opportunity to work from home regularly.
