Pro-rata salary starting from £9,352 p.a.


The Workplace is a brand new, aspirational and innovative Alternative Provision Free School in East Sussex for pupils in years 9 to 11, which opened in September 2020. The Workplace provide education that is industry-driven, rigorous in quality, based on partnerships and focussed on enterprise. It will offer pupils a strong basis of Maths, English, Science and IT alongside quality provision in one of six vocational areas (Hairdressing & Barbering, Hospitality & Catering, Construction, Automotive, Sports & Fitness and Arts & Creativity).

Pupils who access The Workplace will be identified as at being at risk of disengagement and exclusion from their commissioning school. We have high expectations of pupils via Workplace standards, to suitably prepare them for post-16 and the wider world of work. Staff will work with employers across industry to ensure that classroom practice replicates the world of work and ensure pupils develop relevant skills and knowledge.

The Role: Resource Assistant, to support the Resource Coordinator and the Multi Academy Trust resource operations (Human, Facilities & Financial Resource Management). Required to start as soon as possible. 

You Are: An organised individual with a clear ability to prioritise tasks, and the ability to work to tight deadlines. You will have experience of cash handling/financial management or administrative support with a broad set of IT skills.  You will be a capable communicator who can work individually as well as part of a team.
