The governing body of St Mary’s Catholic Primary School & Nursery are seeking to appoint a suitability qualified and experienced Early Years Teaching Assistant to cover the maternity leave of the current postholder. The cover will initially be until the 31st August 2022, with the possibility of extending this into the 2022-23 academic year. The successful candidate will join a committed, professional and hardworking Foundation Stage Team who go the extra mile and put the needs of our children first.
Duties will include supporting the class teacher to enhance the development and education of our pupils; working independently both on a one to one basis and with groups of children requiring additional intervention and attending to the personal and physical needs of pupils including first aid. You will also provide full class cover for first day absence and PPA cover as directed.
The hours of employment are 37 hours per week.
