Job Title Senior Payments and Billing Officer
An opportunity has arisen for the position of Senior Payments & Billing Officer within Adult Social Care. You will be responsible for:
- Ensuring that the schedule of social care provider payments and client invoicing is delivered efficiently and effectively
- Monitoring Adult Social Care debt and taking appropriate action
- Ensuring that client finances are managed in accordance with the Appointeeship policy
Experience of financial management and transactions are essential. In this role you must have excellent analytical skills in order to be able to resolve complex queries relating to payments and outstanding debts. You will be expected to manage a high volume workload and be adaptable to change.
You should have experience of supervising and supporting staff, including planning work and ensuring that priorities are met. You must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have a proven record of developing partnerships with internal and external organisations.
You must be self-motivated, demonstrate a flexible and positive attitude and have an ability to work from your own initiative with minimal supervision. You will be able to problem solve and demonstrate attention to detail. An ability to manage and prioritise your own workload is essential.
