Cook/Kitchen Assistant – Intensive Housing
Starting Salary £9.81 per hour, pay award pending
Annualised hours working typically 9.00am – 2.00pm, four days on and four days off (20 hours per week)
Extra hours will need to be worked to provide cover

We are currently recruiting for a Cook/Kitchen Assistant to work with us at Broadleaves, our exciting new ‘housing with care scheme’ in Boughton offering 40 homes for the over 60’s.
In the role of Cook/Kitchen Assistant, you will work alongside our intensive housing staff as well as carers. You will responsible for preparing a two-course nutritious and tasty midday meal for our residents and ensuring the kitchen and dining room are operated in an efficient manner and in accordance with all current legislation and guidelines concerning the preparation and handling of food. You will maintain high cleaning standards in the kitchen.
Previous professional employment as a cook is essential and you must hold a Food Hygiene Certificate.
