Maternity Cover for the Database and Systems Manager
Full time(36 hours) until the end of 2022
Salary range £38,419 to £46,444 p.a (dependent on experience)
Spelthorne’s ICT department is a busy, friendly and dynamic place to work.
We are looking for an experienced Database and Systems Manager to work across all areas of the Council. Previous experience of managing a team, database management, and project management in an IT related environment is required. Any experience with developing systems, management reporting, processes and automation particularly through Granicus forms packages, Microsoft SQL Server and Office 365 products (and, especially, the Power Platform) would be beneficial. Knowledge of building and maintaining a VDI environment would also be valuable. Duties will also include attendance at management meetings and occasional out of hours work (for upgrades, patches etc.). Any time worked out of hours can be paid or taken off in lieu. The successful candidate will have excellent inter-personal and communications skills as well good organisational skills. A knowledge of local government would be useful but not essential.

Please note that this role is currently home based as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic. This is kept under constant review and subject to change, there will be a requirement to come into the office for training.
