Fixed-term contract for 24 months or secondment opportunity for LBE employees for at least 12 months
Future Ealing, the council’s transformation programme, aims to help deliver outcomes for residents whilst addressing budget challenges brought about from reductions in government grants, rising demand and the effects of COVID-19. To date programmes and projects designed and delivered through the Future Ealing Programme have helped deliver transformational change whilst balancing the budget.
As a Change and Transformation Project Manager you will form a key part of the Future Ealing Programme Management Office (PMO), a small team located in the strategy and engagement service within the chief executive’s directorate.
You will demonstrate strong project management skills and flexibility to lead projects that deliver across a range of services including, but not limited to:
- Children and Families
- Adult Services
- Customer and Transactional Services
You will expertly manage the day-to-day operational aspects of project delivery, including feasibility and business case design, project planning, risk management and good project governance.
You will have excellent communication skills and will be comfortable working with a range of stakeholders to support benefit delivery.
Due to COVID-19, this is currently a remote role. The expectation is that the successful candidate will be available to attend training, workshops, team meetings etc. in the main office, Perceval House, when it is safe to do so.
This role is subject to Ealing Council’s enhanced vetting process.
The position is for a fixed period of at least 24 months. External applicants will be offered a fixed-term contract and existing Ealing council employees will be offered the opportunity of at least a 12 month secondment.
