About you:

We are looking for a passionate and skilled L&D professional to come and hit the ground running with a keen eye for detail and excellent customer service skills. We want someone who understands and demonstrates skills and creativity to do the right thing. You will be organised, creative and comfortable with technology and able to take responsibility for your own areas of work. You will have experience of supporting projects and in asking questions to fully understand what your customer both wants and needs from Learning and Development (as well as how to measure impact).

The role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Learning and Development Team within HR, the role will include the following and much more;

  • Manage the administration team to ensure delivery of objectives and provide a customer focused service, including supporting first line functions where appropriate.
  • Ensure delivery of a broad range of administrative activities and respond to related queries that are more complex, in a timely and effective manner, ensuring they are delivered to agreed SLA’s and KPI’s
  • Support the design and delivery of learning and development interventions 
  • Working to support the wider Learning and Development Team on other learning interventions.
  • Actively promote the Council’s diversity and inclusion agenda and as appropriate develop specialist knowledge and expertise in this area.
  • Use data on an ongoing basis to assess the direct impact of L&D interventions on customer outcomes.

This is a role where you will be given autonomy over your work and will be joining a really supportive team that’s passionate about L&D.
