The Education School Buildings and Development Team is seeking to appoint a School Organisation and Place Planning Manager to work in conjunction with Head of School Buildings and Development and Service Head to take the lead role in matters relating to pupil place planning and school organisation.
The post-holder will collaborate with a range of agencies to strategically plan and develop appropriate systems to ensure the effective management of school, SEND and alternative provision place planning: including the modelling of pupil number projections; the annual school capacity survey (SCAP); the development and management of proposals for school organisation changes and statutory consultations.
We are looking for someone with experience of strategic planning and implementation, managing and delivering projects and/or programmes within required timescales. Someone who can undertake complex statistical data analysis and produce reports to communicate this information to a variety of audiences, including council members, senior colleagues, school governors, headteachers, parents and the public.
The role is relatively high profile and challenging and you will need to be innovative, self-assured, resilient and able to work at a robust pace.
