Salary Range: £46,845 per annum progressing to £49,866 per annum
Hours: 37 per week
Contract: Permanent

The Adult Disability Service are seeking Team Managers to join a collaborative, committed and innovative management team and to take on the role and responsibility of heading up a new team.

Demonstrating excellent leadership skills and front-line management experience, you will be responsible for empowering and supporting our staff to deliver excellent professional practice leading to positive outcomes for people in Hertfordshire. Our Connected Lives model puts choice, independence, enablement and citizenship at the heart of everything we do. It gives us an opportunity to look at real and innovative solutions that enable people to live their lives to the full.

You will be responsible for supervising staff from different disciplines in a very busy community locality team. You will possess sound management skills in resource and time management; demonstrate abilities in managing competing service priorities and organisational skills in deploying resources to manage high level risk. You will contribute to meeting the business objectives of the service and department and participate in strategic service development, innovations and projects.

You will have a proven ability to work flexibly and effectively across service areas and have proven abilities and experience in partnership working with Statutory, Private and Voluntary Sector organisations in seeking the best outcomes for service users and their carers.

You will possess sound knowledge and a demonstrable ability to effectively apply legislation and safeguarding policies in day to day practice. 

You will hold a relevant professional qualification and registration with SWE /HCPC/NMC.
