A vacancy has arisen at Ribblesdale Pool for a full time Duty Officer to supervise the running of the pool.
Working on a rota system with two other supervisors, you will be responsible for overseeing proper use of the pool by the public and managing the staff involved in running the pool. You will also be expected to open the pool to the public in the mornings, as well as locking up in the evenings.
Pool opening hours vary from 7.00 am through to 10.00 pm on certain evenings. More detailed information regarding shift patterns and start and finish times are on the additional details sheet. Main duties will include ensuring correct running of filter plant, boiler and chemicals, water testing of both the main swimming pool and teaching pool, monitoring cash handling, stock control, staffing issues, as well as being responsible for Health & Safety.
An enhanced DBS check will be undertaken once an offer of employment is made.
