We are seeking a committed, enthusiastic individual with excellent administrative skills to join the Housing Team in this rewarding role to help support the team working with people who are homeless or threatened with homelessness.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the delivery of our statutory duty to prevent and relieve homelessness. Duties will include delivering the Choice-Based Lettings service by ensuring the smooth running of the weekly advertising and shortlisting of social housing in the district as well as maintaining the housing register. The post holder will also be responsible for generating system reports relating to performance, liaising with key stakeholders and customers. A commitment to a high level of customer care is essential, as well as attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
The base for this post will be The Symington Building / home working and the post holder will report to the Housing Services Manager.
- An ability to organise and prioritise workload,
- Experience of working to deadlines,
- T. skills, including experience of MS Word, Excel and Access,
- Excellent communication skills,
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team.
