We have two exciting vacancies for forward-thinking, motivated and passionate Senior Corporate Health and Safety Officers.
Our Corporate Health and Safety Service provides essential work to ensure that an effective management system is in place to control the health and safety risks associated with the diverse range of services that the Council provides. Accordingly, one of the key roles of the Service is to help maintain a positive health and safety culture within the Council so that all necessary procedures and practices are adhered to.
Working within the Regulatory Services team, the posts offer the opportunity to take leading roles in helping us to further develop our health and safety strategies, policies, standards and procedures to help embed the Council's new ways of working. Accordingly, the roles require knowledgeable and competent candidates, with good communication skills that can maintain good working relationships across a wide range of services within the Council.
Both posts are full time; one post is available for 12 months and the other post for two years. If you feel you have the appropriate skills and experience, and are keen to support the Council in this essential service, then we would love to hear from you!
We pride ourselves on being a good employer with a range of benefits and employment terms and conditions to suit you. You will be able to benefit from competitive salaries on an incremental scheme, flexible working, LGPS pension scheme, family friendly policies and healthcare insurance.
