What it's like working in our team... 

  • We are a small team who work closely together to make sure we are providing the best support to families, children and childcare professionals in Bracknell Forest.   Sometimes the work is challenging; however, there is also time for finding creative solutions and every day is different.
  • You will work as part of a team who strive to offer their best professional advice and support. Our team have daily meetings to share concerns and find solutions. We also are in regular contact with professional childcarers working in Bracknell Forest to provide them with prompt responses to queries, information and advice.

You will be supported to carry out the following duties, responsibilities and training…

  1. To provide an accurate, well organised and efficient support service for the continued, smooth running of the Holiday Activities and Food programme and schedules.  
  2. To identify voluntary organisations, communities, public bodies and private businesses to support the HAF programme.
  3. Promote the HAF programme by producing and disseminating publicity, notices and other communications, ensuring information is kept up to date.
  4. To provide support for eligible families to a)register for benefits related free school meals, b) signpost to professionals/agencies when required, c). follow up non-attendance of booked HAF sessions and work in partnership with parents to support future attendance
  5. Confidential handling of sensitive information, with regards to working within the bounds of the Data Protection Act and GDPR legislation at all times

  • has the ability to work on own initiative and can prioritise workloads to meet deadlines
