An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the diverse and multi skilled Business Support Service in the role of Business Support Officer. This position is 37 hours per week and is permanent.
The role will provide business support activities for the Stronger Communities Team including supporting and arranging Statutory Meetings including recording of decisions accurately and at speed, collaboration with internal and external stakeholders including managers, employees and members of the public, undertake a variety of project work adhering to deadlines, input check and maintain a variety of electronic systems dealing with confidential information appropriately, process financial requests, work on a wide variety of other administration duties whilst dealing with interruptions and conflicting demands.
You will need to hold a level 2 qualification and have a business support background. You will be comfortable with a variety of IT applications and be able to offer ideas and solutions in order to ensure the services we deliver are the best they can be.
You will be flexible in your approach in order to ensure the overall service objectives are achieved, be an excellent team player and willing to make a solid contribution to the smooth running of the service.
