About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Officer to manage and deliver a wide range of projects and work across multiple service areas to support the development of customer, library and registration services. The main purpose of the role will be to project manage all aspects of a major relocation project, including planning, procurement and budget to ensure the project provides best value for East Sussex County Council. You will also manage a number of other projects, including library refurbishment projects to ensure our libraries remain welcoming and safe.

This opportunity will enable you to develop your existing administrative, project management and communication skills and to benefit from other training required for the role. You will be expected to work under your own initiative, reporting progress into a Team Manager and Project Boards.

Knowledge/experience of library and information services/records management/ registration services, although not essential, would be beneficial.

The role is for 12 months, 37 hours per week, with an opportunity to work flexibly.

Additional information

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
