About the role

The role is as a Principal Project Manager within the Orbis IT & Digital Customer and Partnerships Service, for a fixed term. The role is key in leading and co-ordinating Project Management activities and teams in achieving a successful delivery of the future South East Grid Broadband service, a £10m SEG Consortium project, led by East Sussex County Council, that will deliver super-fast, reliable, scalable broadband solutions to school customers and corporate organisations around the region.

The post holder will need to be trained and certified in PRINCE2 or AGILE Project Management, have experience and a successful delivery track record of similar size complex digital projects and a real depth of stakeholder management skills in relation to both internal and external customers.

Additional information

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
