An exciting full-time permanent position has arisen in North Somerset Council’s Family Wellbeing Service within Children’s Services. We are looking for an experienced and motivated professional to join one of teams in the South of the county based in Weston-super-Mare.
Working at an Early Help level you will support the development and delivery of our services. These take place in our Children's Centres and Family Hubs for children of 0-19 years, and adults up to 25 years old with Special Educational Needs.
Our Family Support Workers build trusted and effective relationships with children and families to ensure the best outcomes for them. You will have experience of this, together with knowledge and experience of children's learning and development within the 0-19-year-old age group.
Family Support Workers need experience of working alongside families, both individually and in groups. You will also need experience of multi-agency working as you will be required to work with partner agencies, to provide a holistic service to vulnerable families.
