About The Job

Salary: £47,351- £50,725
Contract: Fixed Term (12 Months)
Working Pattern: Full-time
Location: County Hall, Chichester (with flexible working options available)
Start Date: Immediate start is required

We are seeking a dynamic, empathetic, and challenging individual to lead the change activity for the Oracle Fusion implementation. This will include the day-to-day responsibility for all aspects of the change elements of the project and responsibility for ensuring that constituent change elements (change management, learning and development, communication, and business analysis) are delivered.

Reporting to the Senior Responsible Officer for the programme, you will need to be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of how excellent change management can deliver sustainable business and cultural change and support continuous improvement using a variety of change management techniques.

You will need to have good interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate, connect, challenge, and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders. You'll need to have a supportive style with the ability to see things from the perspectives of others. In addition, you will also be able to demonstrate the following key skills and experience.

Experience and Skills

Key Skills

  1. Understanding of human aspects and factors influencing change, with the ability to develop strategies, techniques, and strategic alliances with key stakeholders.
  2. Ability to implement new processes and assess the impact of the modelled process on service delivery, identifying any enablers and dependencies to successful implementation and engaging with all key stakeholders necessary to implement proposed changes.
  3. Excellent communication skills with ability to influence actions by others and negotiate effective business solutions.
  4. Ability to challenge existing practices and processes and implement new ways of working to meet the requirements of the programme.
  5. Understand how business change relates to technology and design change activities accordingly.

Experience and Qualifications

  • A relevant postgraduate qualification in HR, OD/L&D or Change Management or equivalent level of experience, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of relevant practices.
  • Demonstrable understanding of the human aspects and factors influencing change, with the ability to develop strategies, techniques, and strategic alliances with key stakeholders.
  • Experience of working in a project environment and managing competing demands and deadlines.
  • Experience of engaging with key stakeholders to assess the impact of change and successfully implementing change.
  • Experience of using recognised techniques and approaches for analysing & designing a business and its processes and embedding sustainable change.
  • Experience of bringing together information and presenting it in suitable ways for various stakeholders and audiences.
  • Experience of working on system implementations or IT change projects (desirable).
