Duties of the post:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Housing Officer to join our busy team of generic Housing Officers managing Adur Council Housing stock. You will be able to provide an excellent landlord service to our tenants and leaseholders. This post is worked under a flexible working arrangement incorporating home, office based and on site working.
As a generic Housing Officer your duties will include rental income collection, dealing with antisocial behaviour, tenancy changes, and general estate management.
You will have proven experience in the social housing sector, as you will need knowledge of housing regulations and legislation. We will be calling on your excellent problem solving skills as you will need to be able to deal with complex queries, and cases, in a busy working environment.
Your excellent communication, negotiation and problem solving skills are needed to deal with a range of complex queries . It will be important that you are able to deal confidently with diverse communities, stakeholders, and colleagues.
Frequent travel is required in the role, therefore a full valid driving licence is required.
